Intro

Aligning presence with positioning

Brett was refining his proposition and didn’t want new positioning sitting on top of old visuals. He needed images that could carry him across LinkedIn, his website, newsletter, and social platforms — without feeling forced or performative. We built this session around The Signature Story package — grounding the work in identity rather than aesthetics. We started at home in his Amsterdam studio — warm, personal, and filled with objects he’s collected and created as a visual artist — before moving into the city he’s called home for nearly a decade.

Challenges

Working within visual saturation

In an AI-saturated feed, most personal brands start to look the same—polished, generic, forgettable. Brett wanted the opposite — a presence that felt human, specific, and quietly confident. The challenge was to show range without staging different roles — letting his work, background, and sense of place speak for themselves. We needed multiple locations that felt iconic but not touristy, and images that could flex across channels while staying cohesive.

Outcome

A visual story with range

The final set is a visual system Brett can build on: at-home frames that feel intimate and grounded, and city portraits that signal energy and belonging—bike included. Together they tell a clear story: a strategic product designer with taste, and momentum. He now has consistent visuals for his website, LinkedIn, newsletter, Substack, and social posts—images that earn attention without shouting, and build trust before a single word is said.
